Another Project In the books

Posted by kfinney on Mar 8 2023 - 10:17am

Congrats to Aspen on the success of her Eagle Scout Project.  Aspen partnered with Pathlight Mood and Anxiety Center to bring the community together to learn about anxiety.  This one was an out of the box idea which forced her to really think about how carry out this project so it truly fulfilled the requirements of an Eagle Scout service project.  Well done Aspen!

Trailer Maintence

Posted by kfinney on Jan 16 2023 - 3:31pm

On Sunday Jan 15, The Hathaway family invited scouts and parents to their home to update the shelving in our main trailer. It was a lot of work and planning from Mr. Hathaway and Sarah.  Scouts at the event washed and sanitized all patrols boxes and contents, while the dads built shelves. Thank you for all the work to get this done! The difference is amazing.

Girl's Christmas Eve Hike

Posted by kfinney on Dec 31 2022 - 8:57am

Sarah and family hosted an afternoon for the Girl's Troop to enjoy a very special hike. Quoted from Mr. Hathaway "There is a canyon on the South Platte River that builds up some really spectacular ice formations when the weather gets cold.   The colder the weather gets, the more spectacular the ice formations are in the canyon"

Needless to say, the weather leading up to Christmas Weekend was ideal.
